The Eagles hockey team lost to the Litchfield-Dassel-Cokato team 8-1 Tuesday at home.
Litchfield scored seven unanswered points before the Eagles would score early in the third period, a goal which came from Nick Cencer, assisted by Hartfiel. Litchfield would score one final goal to win with a final score: 8-1.
Eagles goaltender Morrow would face 43 shots against him, saving 35. The Eagles got only 10 shot attempts against Litchfield, nine of which were blocked by Litchfield goalkeeper Dylan Lemke.
The Eagles’ season record now falls to 1-9. The team plays Sauk Rapids Jan. 9, with the next home game Jan. 12 when they host Prairie Centre at 7 p.m.
