Becker athletes sign LOI’s to continue edcuation

Last Thursday, Nov. 9, Becker High School held the first of three National Letter of Intent signing days.

BHS had four student athletes sign their letters at 7:30 a.m. in the high school gym. They included:

Kylee Morton signed to compete in women’s track and field at Bemidji State University in Bemidji;

Alexis Rose signed on to play women’s basketball at the University of Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, SD;

Hannah Hyttsten signed on to play women’s tennis at the University of Northwestern in St. Paul;

Titan Hoover signed a LOI to play men’s lacrosse at Malone University in Canton, OH.

Parents, family and friends were invited to attend the event last week and help celebrate the important decisions made by these student athletes as they commit to not only their academic but also their athletic futures.

“We congratulate them and thank them for all that they have done as student athletes at Becker High School,” said Activities Director, Dave Niemi. “We wish them the best of luck as they look forward to the next phase of their lives after they graduate.”
