Jess Babler was the first male to cross the finish line in a time of 18.37. The first woman was Gina Vanselow at 21.56.

 

Organizers of the event had to scramble in the days leading up to the event, getting extra snowplows and scrapers to smooth out the trail so runners would have a safe trail to run. The weather was clear for the day with temperatures in the low to mid-20s for the race that commenced at 10:30 a.m.
