Bandits Win Opener, 13 4

The Becker Bandits baseball team kicked off their summer league with a 13-4 trouncing of Sartell June 17 on the road.

Matthew Moe started the game on the hill for the Bandits and he pitched three innings giving up two hits, three walks, two runs and had two strikeouts.

Cam Fischer came on to pitch the next two innings and he gave up two hits, a walk, one run and had four KOs. Peyton Bigaouette toed the rubber for two innings, giving up one hit, two walks, one run and had one strikeout.

Westin Schug pitched the eighth, giving up one hit while striking out two. Joe Dolan capped off the pitching carousel by completing one inning with one hit, one walk and two strikeouts.

Dolan was also one of the key contributors on offense as he went five-for-seven with a double, one run scored and two RBIs. Dalton Fouquette was four-for-seven with two doubles, four RBIs and three runs scored.

Schug went three-for-six with a sacrifice fly, two runs scores and an RBI. Zach Wenner was two-for-five with a triple, a run scored and an RBI. Hunter Stulz went two-for-five with three runs scored and an RBI.
