The Becker Bandits baseball team split two games this week, winning at Clear Lake and falling on the road at Albertville.
Becker 7, Clear Lake 2
Matthew Moe went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs to lead the visitors June 21.
Weston Schug picked up the win on the mound, going five innings, giving up zero hits, two runs, two walks while strking out five. Dalton Fouquette finished things up by going two innings, giving up two hits, two walks and striking out four.
Fouquette was 2-for-4 on offense with a stolen base and two RBIs. Matt Krenz went 1-for-2 with an RBI and Schug was 1-for-3 with two stolen bags.
Kreeden Blomquist went 1-for-4 with a double, Connor Rolf went 1-for-2 with a walk and Zach Wenner went 1-for-3 with a walk.
Villains 8, Bandits 2
The Bandits fell to the Albertville Villains by six last Wednesday in Albertville. With the loss, the Bandits fell to 2-1 on season.
Moe took the loss as he tossed six innings, giving up one walk, six hits and four runs.
Joe Dolan went 1-for-4 witha double and an RBI. Hunter Stulz was 1-for3 with a double, two stolen bases and an RBI. Rolf was 1-for 3.
Moe was also 1-for-3 while Krenz was 1-for-4 and Fouquette 1-for-4 with a two-bagger.
Peyton Bigaouette came on in relief of Moe and pitched two innings, garnering three strikeouts while giving up four hits, one walk and four runs.
