The Technical High School Tigerettes dance team performed with energy, enthusiasm, and smiles at the Minnesota State High School League Dance Team Tournament on Feb. 14 - 15, where both the jazz and high kick teams advanced to the finals.

Three area students helped lead the team to success; Jenna Brenson and Malea Miller, both of Clearwater, and Amber Kirchoff of Clear Lake.

Miller was also awarded the 2020 MADT Senior Academic Award for achieving a GPA of 3.85 or higher.

The team qualified for state after placing 2nd in both jazz and kick at sections a few weeks ago.
