An Archery Club is coming to Becker!

 

A parent organizational meeting for the commencement of a Becker Bulldog Archery Club is occurring Mon., Nov. 19 from 6-7 p.m. at the Becker Middle School Media Center.

 

Recently, Becker Middle School physical education teachers have begun to instruct the National Archery in Becker Schools Program (NASP) in the curriculum.

NASP is a national and statewide program that is rapidly gaining popularity in surrounding communities here in Minnesota.

 

The goal of the program is to expand the school archery curriculum and offer archery to Becker  students in an out-of-school activity format.

 

The NASP after school program has the potential to include students from fourth to 12th grade.
