Two members of the Becker Dazzlers dance team were invited to participate in the Minnesota Association of Dance Teams All-State Show March 15 at Wayzata High School.
Lindsey Baloun and Madison Anderson were the Becker dancers named to the team (Madison for jazz and Lindsey for kick), however, Anderson was unable to perform due to illness.
Baloun seized the day and performed with the top high school dance team dancers from the state in an opening routine, kick routine and a finale routine.
“Lindsey represented the Becker High School dance team very well and showcased her individual talents as a dancer,” said Becker Head Coach Laura Anderson. “It was great to see her perform with the best of the best.”
Auditions for the 2014-2015 Becker High School dance team were held this past Wednesday and 31 girls auditioned and joined the team for next year. The Dazzlers will also perform at Becker Freedom Days Sat., June 21.
