Becker youth wrestlers competed at the Gopher State Nationals in Monticello recently along with 1,157 other wrestlers from over 10 states.
Kindergartner Rylan Kujawa won the Pre-K-K, 55-lb. bracket. Third grader Bennett Kujawa won his 60-lb., third grade bracket. Second grader Jacob Williams took second in the first/second grade, 50-lb. bracket.
Sixth grade Kaden Rish took third in the sixth grade, 86-lb. bracket. Second grader Blayne Kuschel took fourth in the first/second grade, 65-lb. bracket. Fifth grader Kaden Nicolas took fifth place in the fifth/sixth grade, 74-lb. bracket.
Fifth grader Cash Stortz took fifth place in the fifth grade, 78-lb. bracket. Rylan Kujawa and Blayne Kuschel also earned their coveted Midwest Wrestling Tour belt for placing first-fourth in three of the four MWT tournaments.
Boston Kuschel, Isaac Daluge, Tyler Hall, Drew May and Eli Seifert also competed in the tournament but did not place.
