10th Annual GRFIA Scramble re-cap

Monday was a beautiful day in Minnesota as the organization, Great River Faith in Action held their 10th annual golf scramble at Pebble Creek Golf Course.

Participating were 124 golfers in teams of four who teed off at various holes throughout the golf course starting at 1 p.m. The 124 golfers beat last year’s record and proved to organizers this event is a special one each and every year.

Taking the first place prize was team D&L Construction, which consisted of Jamie Letcher, Patrick Duffy, Bob Krebill and Mike Quandt.  Their win earned them four rounds of golf at The Wilds Golf Club.

The second place team, Victory Insurance, won four rounds of golf at Breezy Point. The team’s foursome was KC Foster, Caleb Foster, Keaton Shinn and Collin Anderson.

“We are so grateful for all the community support from businesses, individuals and organizations,” said  Executive Director Maureen Baty. “Praise God for such perfect weather for the fundraiser.”

She also issued a huge thank you to their gold, silver, bronze and hole sponsors.

The gold sponsors included: Pellco Machine, Darter Plastics, Northwest Machine,  M&M Machine, Victory Insurance, Hubbard Electric, Current Accessibility Solutions, D&L Construction, Tito’s Vodka and Sherburne State Bank.

Beaudry Oil and Propane was GRFIA’s hole in one sponsor.  Absolute Sourcing and Absolute Cribbage were GRFIA’s drink cart sponsors.
