The Becker 10U baseball team #5 had a great season and were champions in the Willie Mays Quad City League year-end tournament this past week.
After a 12-1 season, the boys won five straight games in the tournament held in Clear Lake (two games Saturday and three on Sunday). All the games were nail biters but the boys never gave up and came out as champions.
The #5 10U baseball team consists of Austin Clemon, Micha Wheeler, Ethan Anderson, Carter Leither, Mason Mayfield, Mason Doucette, Standing: Brady Taylor, Christian Marquette, Trenton Woolhouse and Dailen Adu Gyamfi. The team was coached by Ben Anderson, Tony Leither and Jayme Doucette.
