Last Saturday at approximately 7:42PM an officer from the Becker Police Dept. attempted to stop a vehicle for several traffic offenses to include speeding and failure to stop at a stop sign. The driver of the vehicle Shaun Anthony Bratsch, 39, Becker, accelerated at a high rate of speed on 153rd Ave. attempting to evade police.

 

The officer pursued the vehicle into a neighborhood in the eastern part of Becker. The driver slammed on his brakes on 46th/Olivia St., where Bratsch exited the vehicle and confronted the officers.

Bratsch was taken into custody and was booked at the Sherburne County Jail for Felony Fleeing Police in a Motor Vehicle and 2nd Degree DWI Test Refusal.

 

Officers were assisted by the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office.
