  • Traffic Stop – Mitchell Ridge/Bluff Rd – Stop for moving violation. Driver revoked. Cited.
  • Domestic – Pleasant Ave – Investigated. Mediated.
  • Traffic Stop – Hwy 10/172nd St – Stop for failure to yield right of way. Cited.
  • Harassment – Pleasant Ave – Report taken.
  • Traffic Stop – Hwy 10/Lake St – Stop for speed. Driver revoked. Cited.

Saturday, January 14, 2023

  • Traffic Stop – Lake St/Monroe – Stop for speed on Lake St. Driver was suspended. Cited for speed and driving while suspended.
  • CO Alarm – Ridge Rd – Responded. FD checked with meter and did not detect gas. Advised to replace detectors.
  • Public Assist – Jefferson Blvd – Transported a snowmobiler from their broken-down sled to their residence.
  • Traffic Stop – Lakeshore/Sherburne Ave – Stop for expired registration. Cited.

Friday, January 13, 2023

  • Fight – Jefferson Blvd – Fight at a business. Officers investigated. No one wanted charges.
  • Suspicious Activity – Co Rd 43 – Three parties acting suspicious. Contacted by officers. Parties ID themselves and one was found to have a warrant out of Scott County. Party was arrested and booked into Sherburne Jail.

Thursday, January 12, 2023

  • Traffic Stop – Rose Dr – Vehicle stopped for owner being suspended. Driver was the owner and was cited.
  • Warrant – Lake Ridge Dr – Officers attempted an arrest warrant for Wright County. Party was located and taken into custody. Met Wright County Deputy for custody transfer.
  • Theft – Rose Dr – Report taken for investigation and charging.
  • Suspicious Activity – Delta/Sandbar – Possible theft of equipment. Officers contacted possible suspects and investigated. No charges currently.

Wednesday, January 11, 2023

  • Domestic – Station St – Investigated. Determined an assault occurred. Party arrested and booked into Sherburne Jail.
  • Harassment – Henry Rd – Report taken.
  • Suspicious Vehicle – 197th Ave – Investigated.
  • Suspicious Activity – Jefferson Blvd – Phone call to a business claiming to be law enforcement. The caller requested the employee empty all the money from the till into an envelope and meet the caller in Monticello. The employee refused and the caller hung up.
  • Disturbance – Karen Ln – Parties arguing. Mediated by officers and Co-Responder.
  • Gas Leak – City Hall – PD and FD responded for a meter that smelled of gas. The meter was shut off and the gas company was contacted.
  • Agency Assist – Eagle Lk Rd N – Assisted a deputy on at traffic stop with occupants arrested.
  • Open Door – Martin Ave – An officer performing business checks found an unsecure door.

  • Community Policing – BLPD – An officer met with a foster child who was having nightmares about police officers.
  • Crash – Jefferson Blvd – Investigated. Documented.
  • Found Bike – Minnesota Ave – Ran stolen checks and picked up for safe keeping.
  • Community Policing – BLPD – Group tour of the police department.
  • Agency Assist – Co Rd 43/221st Ave – Assisted deputy on a crash in a curve.
  • Suspicious Person – Henry Rd – Checked the area. Did not locate.
  • Lift Assist – Highline Dr – Assisted an uninjured person from the floor.

  • Hazardous Road Condition – Co Rd 43/198th – Removed broken bottles from the roadway.
  • Theft – Hill St – Report taken. Citation issued.
