Sun., June 5, 2022: Lakeshore Dr – Suspicious Vehicle – Officers contacted vehicles in the park after 10pm park close time. Parties advised of park hours and sent on their way; Mitchell Rd – Civil – Officer called for a property dispute; Forest Rd – Security Alarm – Officers responded. Owner on site. Accidental trip; Rose Dr – Security Alarm – Officers responded. No problems found; Lake St N/Idaho – Hazardous Condition – An Officer blocked traffic for a cut wire that was laying in the road. It was made safe by the fire department; Burlwood Cir – Loud Noise – Officers spoke to a resident about loud music; 198th Ave – Animal Call – Officer asked to check a dog inside a vehicle.

Sat., June 4, 2022: Hwy 10/Cty 81 – Agency Assist – Officers assisted a Deputy with a motorcycle that did not stop right away for a Deputy. Further investigation uncovered drugs and a handgun. Officers assisted the Deputy arrest the driver; Fern St – Suspicious Activity – Officer investigated a call received by a business from a party claiming to be an FBI Agent; Lake St N – Loud Noise – Complaint of a party mowing lawn outside of 9pm ordinance; 180th Ave, SC – Agency Assist – Officer assisted a Deputy on a check welfare for ERPD; 198th Ave – Security Alarm – Officers dispatched for an alarm. A party was located but denied doing anything that would set off the alarm. No problems located; Martin/Fern – Crash – Two vehicle crash. No reported injuries. Investigated; Jefferson Blvd – Check Welfare – Officer requested to check on a party accompanying another party at a business, 185th Ave, SC – Agency Assist – An Officer assisted Deputies with traffic control at a fire in the township; Engle Wood Dr – Check Welfare – Officer requested to contact a party the caller was unable to reach; Polk St – Warrant Attempt – Officers saw a party enter a residence that matched the description of a person with a warrant. Officers made contact and located the party with the warrant. Party was arrested and transported to Sherburne Jail.

Fri., June 3, 2022: Lakeshore Dr – Suspicious Vehicle – Officers contacted a vehicle in a park after hours. Occupants advised and sent on their way; Karen Ln – Loud Noise – Officers requested to enforce noise ordinance. Contact made; 198th Ave – Fire Alarm – Officers responded. Employee advised it was a false alarm; Lakeshore Dr – Disturbance – Past action theft report. Caller wanted the incident documented; Minnesota Ave – Community Policing – Officers were present at the BL HS Graduation Ceremony; Minnesota Ave – 911 Hang Up – 911 call from an apartment building with static on the line, and busy on call back. Fire responded to reset the alarm; Park Ave – Check Welfare – Officer requested to check on a party the caller was unable to reach for several days ;Plymouth Ave – Disturbance – Officers called for two adults arguing. Mediated; Independence Dr – Civil – Officer called for property questions; Larkspur – Agency Assist – Officers assisted on a search warrant of a residence; Hwy 10/Cty 11 – Agency Assist – Officer assisted a Deputy by dispatching a deer.

Thurs., June 2, 2022: Henry Rd – Misc Officer – Party on house arrest called to ask if they would get into trouble by leaving to get food. Party advised to speak to their parole officer; Lakeshore Dr – Found Property – Item found during Music in the Park. Owner contacted; Lakeshore Dr – Community Policing – Officers attended the first Music in the Park event of the year. Parking in non-trailer spaces is free; 181st Ave, SC – Agency Assist – Officers assisted Deputies on a check welfare call; Monroe St – Disturbance – Officer mediated a neighbor dispute; Lake St S – Dumping Complaint – Party put trash into a private dumpster. Contacted to remove as this was illegal dumping; Hiawatha Ave – Fraud – Report taken for fraudulent transactions; Lake St/Glenwood Ave – Loud Noise – Officer requested to check the area for loud music.

Wed., June 1, 2022: Lakeshore Dr – Suspicious Vehicles – Officers contacted parties in the park after hours. Parties were advised and sent on their way; Karen Ln – Warrant Arrest – Officers received information that a subject in a call had a Mille Lacs Co warrant. Officers contacted and arrested the party for the warrant; Nicollet/Lakeshore – Parking Complaint – Officer asked to enforce “no parking”; Minnesota Ave – Civil – Officer contacted for custody disagreement; Humboldt Dr – Property Damage – Report of a vehicle window broken while at a business. An Officer took the report and learned the grass was being mowed while the owner was parked in the lot; 198th Ave – Abandoned Vehicle – Officer called to check an abandoned vehicle in the parking lot. The business requested a tow truck remove the vehicle; Providence Dr/Meadow Ln – Traffic Complaint – A citizen requested stop signs be added to this intersection to make a four way stop due to an increase of traffic from housing; Rose Dr – Check Welfare – Officer asked to check on a seemingly intoxicated party; Monroe St – Property Damage – Children playing sign run over. Investigation ongoing; Tarrytown Rd – Dog Call – Officer called for three large dogs in the caller’s yard; Lakeshore Dr – Traffic Complaint – Report of a vehicle doing a burnout in a parking lot.

Tues., May 31, 2022: Burlwood Cir – Loud Noise – Officer called for loud music from a residence; Henry Rd – Suspicious Vehicle – Officers called to check a vehicle that pulled into the parking lot and left once the caller exited their vehicle. Unable to locate vehicle; Hwy 10/168th St – Suspicious Vehicle – Report of vehicle going through mailboxes and an item was removed. An Officer checked the area, but the vehicle was not located; 218th Ave – Agency Assist – An Officer assisted a Deputy on a single vehicle crash. A vehicle search was conducted. The Deputy made an arrest; Rose Dr – Trespass – Party located that needed to be served with trespass paperwork and a citation for stealing from a local business. Party was served documents; Eagle Lk Rd N – Traffic Stop – Vehicle stopped for equipment violations. A vehicle search was conducted for items possessed by an underage person; Cty Rd 43 – Animal Complaint – Ducklings fell into a storm drain. BL Public Works was notified and rescued the ducklings; Eagle Lk Rd – Hit and Run – Mailbox struck overnight. Report taken.

Mon., May 30, 2022: Lake St/Ormsbee – Traffic Stop – Vehicle stopped for equipment violation. Driver did not have a valid license. Citation issued; Burlwood Cir – Loud Noise – Officer called for loud music at a residence. Occupant spoken to; Burlwood Cir – Loud Noise – Officer called for loud music. Nothing heard on arrival; Rose Dr – Suspicious Activity – Caller was approached by parties at a business in Monticello. The parties followed the caller’s vehicle in their vehicle to a business in Big Lake. BLPD was called and given a vehicle description. The vehicle left prior to Officers arriving. The vehicle description was shared with neighboring agencies and the suspicious vehicle was stopped by Wright County Deputies. Parents were contacted as parties involved were minors; City Wide – Hazardous Conditions – Officers removed tree branches, debris and blown over items from roadways around the city; Lakeshore Dr – Domestic – Officers called. Mediated. Parties separated; 180th Ct – Agency Assist – An Officer assisted Deputies on a vehicle crash; Lena Trl – Crash – Report of a hit and run. Street sign runover. Officer located the vehicle involved; County Rd 5 – Community Policing – Attended the Veteran’s service at Lion’s Park; Eagle Lk Rd – Traffic Complaint – An emailed-in traffic complaint was documented for potential future contact; Independence Dr – Harassment – An emailed-in harassment report was taken; Hwy 10/Cty Rd 43 – Hazardous Condition – Road work sign blown into traffic lane. Officer removed the sign from the lane; Teal St – Suspicious Activity – Officer requested to check a person at the caller’s front door ringing doorbell continuously. Party was contacted. Known by the caller; BLPD – Agency Assist – An Officer assisted Elk River PD with the breath test machine.
