Sun., Mar. 27, 2022: County 14/Hwy 10 – Traffic Complaint – Call of vehicle driving into oncoming traffic. Officer stopped and saw signs of impairment. DWI investigation conducted. Driver was arrested; Hwy 10 – Traffic Stop – An officer saw a vehicle speeding through town on Hwy 10. The officer tried to stop the vehicle, but it increased speed and continued until it crashed on County 81 near 204th Ave. The driver ran away from the crash until caught by the officer after running into a residence. The driver was arrested and found to be impaired. A search warrant was obtained for body fluid collection. The driver was charged with fleeing and DWI; Station St – Harassment – Harassment report taken; Lake St S – Harassment – Party made threats. Was trespassed from business and given a ride to a safe location; Houghton Dr – Animal Call – Barking dog complaint. Officer investigated the complaint; Sterling/Tartan – Dog Bite – Report taken of a dog bite incident; Minnesota Ave – MV Crash – Report taken of property damage crash; 203rd Ave – Security Alarm – Officers checked building. No problems located; Sterling Dr – Animal Call – Barking dog complaint. Owner contacted.
Sat., Mar. 26, 2022: 198th Ave – Harassment – Harassment report taken; Grace Dr – Order Violation – Report taken for an order violation. Request sent for violator to be arrested by local jurisdiction; 172nd St - Fire Call - Assisted Big Lake Fire on a deck and grass fire; Burlwood Cir - Loud Noise - Report of loud music. Warned for noise ordinance; Lee St – Traffic Complaint – Vehicle squealing tires. Officer watched for conduct; Sterling Dr – Domestic – Officers mediated a verbal domestic.
Fri., Mar. 25, 2022: 180th Ave – Traffic Complaint – Report of a party that was drinking and left in a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle. A DWI investigation was conducted. The driver was arrested for DWI, cited and booked into Sherburne Jail; 15th Ave S – Agency Assist – An officer working a DWI Project shift assisted St Cloud PD on a DWI investigation. The driver was arrested, cited and transported to Sherburne Jail; Hwy 10/Eagle Lk Rd - Injury Crash – Officers responded to a vehicle that struck a pedestrian. Officers assisted State Patrol who completed the crash report; Hiawatha Ave – Domestic – Officers mediated a verbal domestic. Parties separated; Hiawatha Ave - Civil - Officers documented a civil situation; Rose Dr – Property Damage – An officer took a report of a car door that blew open and struck another vehicle, causing damage; Eagle Lk Rd N/Park Ave – Hazardous Road Condition – Scrap metal, debris and parts on the roadway. An officer moved the items to the ditch and advised County Maintenance to retrieve; Eagle Lk Rd S – Fraud – An officer took a fraud report.
Thurs., Mar. 24, 2022: Minnesota Ave - Hit and Run - Report of a hit and run crash. Investigation ongoing; Loon Dr – Order Violation – Report taken of an order violation. Investigation ongoing; Crescent St – Suspicious Vehicle – Call for an officer to check a vehicle and the area; Ormsbee St - Harassment - Officers investigated online harassment.
Wed., Mar. 23, 2022: Englewood Dr – Alarm – Officer responded to a carbon monoxide alarm. No sickness; Jefferson Blvd – Suspicious Person – Party behind dumpster surrounded by cans. Officers found a party huffing. Party cited and checked by ambulance. Officers received a follow-up call on the party huffing. Party was arrested for Misusing Toxic Substance. Booked into Sherburne; Glenwood Ave - Vehicle Theft - Report of a stolen company vehicle. Assigned user saw the vehicle in an online video of a chase with police. Officer contacted State Patrol and learned where the vehicle was towed after the chase. Information shared with the caller; Station St - Harassment - Officers documented phone harassment between parties; Eagle Lk Rd S – Missing Person – Report taken for check welfare, missing person. Resources used to locate party in another city. Party was fine; Holasek Ave – Agency Assist/Drone – Officer enroute to assist Becker PD with drone. A domestic assault subject that ran from a residence was located and arrested prior to the use of the drone.
Tues., Mar. 22, 2022: Highland Trl – 911 Hang-Up – Officers responded. No problems; Independence Dr – Dog Bite – Report taken of a dog bite; Lake Ridge Dr – Public Assist – Provided a transport to a safe location; Station St – Domestic – Officers mediated argument. Parties agreed to give each other space; Lake St S – Suspicious Person/Trespass – Party came to door acting odd and yelling. Party was located and trespassed from the residence; 198th Ave – 911 Hang-Up – Officers checked the business. No problems located; Maple Ln – Fraud – Officer took a fraud report. Victim received an email from “Paypal” claiming they owed money for a purchase on their account; Sanford Ave – Suspicious Vehicle – Report of a vehicle driver that opened all of a bank of mailboxes and drove off. Officers located a similar vehicle in the area and spoke to the driver. The driver was a postal employee checking on a package reported as not delivered; Fern/Martin – Agency Assist – Officers assisted Sherburne School Resource Officer with a juvenile that walked away from school. Juvenile brought back to the building; Eagle Lk Rd N – Suspicious Vehicle – Officers asked to check a party asleep in the back of a cargo van. Party was a cross country delivery driver taking a nap; 176th St – Security Alarm – Officers responded, checked inside after keyholder arrived. No issues.

Report taken; Station St – Domestic – Officers mediated verbal argument. Parties refused to separate; Henry Rd - Harassment – Caller had questions about a harassment restraining order.
