Cited for no proof of insurance; Agency Assist – 114th St SE – Assted deputy on a medical emergency; Domestic – Sanford Ave – Officers mediated; Civil – BLPD – Officer stoodby during a custody exchange at the PD; Dog Complaint – Eagle Lk Rd N – Report of a loose dog. Officers were unable to locate.
Sat., Nov. 5, 2022: Burning Complaint – Lakeshore Dr – Resident spoken with about city ordinances on burning; Traffic Stop – Hwy 25/196th St – Stop for equipment. Driver was revoked. Citation issued; Juvenile Complaint – Highland Trl – Report of juveniles doing ding-dong-ditch; Agency Assist – Co Rd 81 – Officer checked the area of a Life 360 crash alert signal sent to dispatch. A vehicle was found to have struck a deer; Community Policing – Minnesota Ave – PD escort of the BL Cross Country Team; Fire – Powell St N – Officers and BLFD responded to an electrical issue causing smoke; Agency Assist – Hwy 10/Co Rd 14 – An officer removed a furniture item from the roadway; Juvenile Runaway – Eagle Lk Rd S – Runaway report taken. Citation issued; Security Alarm – Minnesota Ave – Responded and checked; Agency Assist – BLPD – An officer assisted a deputy while a DWI was processed; Traffic Stop – Proctor Ave, ER – While working a state funded Toward Zero Death (TZD) traffic shift, an officer ran a registration and found the registered owner was revoked. The driver was the owner and was cited for driving while revoked.
Fri., Nov. 4, 2022: 911 Hang Up – Providence Dr – Responded. Found it was an accidental call; Traffic Stop – Co Rd 81/204th Ave – Stop for revoked owner. Driver was the owner and was cited for driving while revoked; Traffic Stop/Order Violation – Lake St S/Monroe – Stop for speed. The driver was found to be in violation of a protection order as the protected person was in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and booked into Sherburne Jail; Check Welfare – Edinburgh Alcove – Request check of a vehicle running for extended period. Contacted the occupants; Hit and Run – Jefferson Blvd – Report of a damage to vehicle with no information left; Civil – BLPD – Officer conducted a standby for a custody exchange at the PD; Animal Found – Lagoon – Found dog picked up by an officer. Held in temporary kennel at the PD garage. The owner contacted the PD and retrieved the dog; Check Welfare – Eagle Lk Rd S – Wellbeing check requested; Harassment – Martin Ave – Phone call harassment. Officer spoke to involved parties; Dog Complaint – Forest Rd – Barking dogs. Resident spoken with; Harassment – Providence Dr – Harassment documented. Parties spoken with; Crash – Eagle Lk Rd N – Property damage crash in a parking lot. Investigation conducted; Domestic – Edinburgh Way – Responded and investigated. Determined a crime was committed. Suspect left prior to arrival. Unable to locate with information provided. Attempt to Locate notice put out for the suspect. Party was located in North Branch and was booked into the Chisago Co Jail on Big Lake’s domestic charges; Agency Assist – 198th Ave – Assisted a deputy that located a party at a storage unit
Thurs., Nov. 3, 2022: Domestic – Edinburgh Way – Responded. Mediated. Documented for civil proceedings; Civil – Forest Rd – Civil questions concerning property; Traffic Stop – Lake St S/Hwy 10 – Stop for speed. The driver’s license was found to be expired. Citation issued for expired driver’s license; Open Door – Lake Ridge – Report of neighbor’s garage door open while they were gone. Residence checked and secured; Drugs – Lake St N – Report of a party in a vehicle smoking from a pipe with a bowl. Vehicle was unoccupied on arrival. Information gathered; Traffic Complaint – Hwy 10/Co Rd 43 – Road rage incident continued to a parking lot; Check Welfare – Egret Ave – Wellbeing check requested; Harassment – Monroe/Ormsbee St – Verbal exchange over driving conduct; Trespass – Jefferson Blvd – Request for assistance trespassing individuals that shoplifted; Extra Patrol – Lake St N – Information about a fight that may occur at an arranged location; Agency Assist – Chestnut Cir – St Cloud PD requested assistance contacting a shoplifting suspect. Information obtained that party no longer resides at the checked residence; Traffic Stop – Eagle Lk Rd/Hiawatha Ave – Stop for speed and passing in no passing zone. Citations issued; Property Damage – Norwood Dr – Report taken of damage to a vehicle.
Wed., Nov. 2, 2022: Lift Assist – Norwood Dr – Assisted a party that was uninjured; Dog Complaint – Vernon St – Dogs barking. Owners spoken with; Agency Assist – 182nd Ave – Assisted a deputy on a medical emergency; Harassment – Pleasant Ave – Social media harassment; Domestic – Station St – Mediated for parties. Assisted with separating; Traffic Stop/Drugs – Hwy 10/Lakeshore Dr – Stop for equipment. Vehicle search conducted. Controlled substance located. Occupants arrested and booked into Sherburne Jail. Tues., Nov. 1, 2022: Trespass – Hiawatha Ave – Neighbor dispute. Property owner requested a trespass; Domestic – Minnesota Ave – Report taken of a physical domestic. Suspect was not at the location. Attempt to locate put out for suspect. Mounds View PD located the party and arrested for domestic assault. Custody was transferred to a Big Lake Officer. The party was booked into Sherburne Jail; Dumping Complaint – Hwy 10 – Report of garbage dumped on private property; Check Welfare – Mitchell Ridge – Wellbeing check requested; Stop Arm Violation – Mitchell Ridge/Pond View Ln – Report received. Investigated. Sent to County Attorney’s Office for review and charging; Agency Assist – 181st Ave – Assisted deputy on a medical emergency; Traffic Stop – Co Rd 17/Hwy 25 – Stop for registration. Driver was found to have a Canceled-IPS license status and have two outstanding warrants. Driver was arrested and booked into Sherburne Jail; Domestic – Minnesota Ave – Report of parties refusing to leave. Investigated. Parties had warrants and one committed assault. Both were arrested and booked into Sherburne Jail.
Mon., Oct. 31, 2022: Suspicious Activity – Minnesota Ave – Parties acting odd and bothering others. Officers checked; Agency Assist – Eagle Lk Rd/Grace Dr – Assisted State Patrol on a traffic stop; Property Damage – Eagle Lk Rd/Highline – Report of a water bottle thrown from a vehicle that damaged a headlight; Juvenile Complaint – Hiawatha Ave/Chippewa – Report of eggs thrown from a vehicle; Burglary – Minnesota Ave – Report of stolen property. Investigation conducted. Juvenile suspect contacted. Juvenile arrested and booked into Lino Lakes on a burglary charge; Property Damage – Lake St N – Report of property damage; Suspicious Vehicle – Station St – U-Haul in parking lot for extended period. Company contacted. Determined the U-Haul did not show it was rented. Would be picked up; Traffic Complaint – Hwy 10/Co Rd 15 – Report of conduct. Contact made; Check Welfare – Mitchell Rd – Wellbeing check requested; Security Alarm – Park Ave – Responded and checked; Fraud – Henry Rd – Report of fraudulent activity on debit card; Agency Assist – Minnesota Ave – Assisted deputy on a medical emergency; Found Property -Hwy 10/Co Rd 43 – Item turned in to PD; Agency Assist – Hwy 10/Co Rd 81 – Assisted State Patrol move a stalled vehicle; Security Alarm – Rose Dr – Responded.
