  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10/Lakeshore Dr – Assisted State Patrol during a traffic stop and DWI arrest.
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10 – Assisted Sherburne Deputy on a fight call.
  • Dog Bite – William St – Reported dog bite.
  • Security Alarm – Northstar St – Alarm company reported several parties with flashlight enter construction site. Neighboring agencies responded to assist in locating the parties. 
  • Disturbance – Lake St S/Monroe – A patrolling officer saw parties that appeared to be fighting. Parties argued but denied anything physical.
  • Disturbance – Wall St – Intoxicated party threatening to fight people. 

Saturday, June 29, 2024

  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10/Co Rd 43 – Responded to a crash to check for injuries. Gathered information and provided scene security until State Patrol arrived to take the report.
  • Disturbance – Traverse Ln – Neighbor disturbance over yard debris from mowing.  
  • Community Policing – Jefferson Blvd – Assisted with motorcycle run. 
  • Community Policing – Lakeside Park – Assisted with the Lakes Run event.
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10/Co Rd 15 – Assisted State Patrol on a traffic stop. 
  • Fight – Jefferson Blvd – Report of several people fighting. Responded. No injuries or action wanted. 
  • Theft – Eagle Lk Rd N – Report taken.
  • Loud Music – Corinne Dr – Checked on noise complaint. 

Friday, June 28, 2024

  • Crash – Phyllis St – Property damage in a parking lot. Documented. 
  • Agency Assist – Eagle Lake Rd/Hiawatha Ave – Backed an Elk River Officer working a DWI project while conducting a DWI investigation. 
  • Missing Person – Minnesota Ave – Officers at Spud Fest had a found juvenile waiting to be reunited with their parent. When the parent called dispatch, the two were reunited. 
  • Fight – Minnesota Ave – A group kicked out of the Spud Fest carnival attempted to instigate trouble near the softball fields. 
  • Drone Deployment – Minnesota Ave – BLPD launched drone to capture images of the Spud Fest carnival. Check them out on our Facebook page.
  • Hit and Run Crash – Rose Dr – Vehicle damaged while parked in a private parking lot. Information gathered. 
  • Disturbance – Eagle Lk Rd N – Parties yelling between vehicles in a parking lot.
  • Gas Leak – Lena Trail – Gas stove left on for several hours. Responded with FD.

  • Agency Assist – Hwy 25 – Watched for a suspect vehicle involved in a theft in Monticello. 
  • Agency Assist – Co Rd 14 – Assisted Sherburne Deputy with a lift assist.
  • Garbage Complaint – Lake St S – Report of vehicle throwing garbage out while driving. 
  • Gas Leak – Engle Wood Dr – Gas line broken while doing home repairs. 
  • Agency Assist – Fern St – Attempted contact with a runaway from Wright County.
  • Theft – Gordon Ln – License plate stolen/missing from vehicle. Report taken.

  • Agency Assist – Co Rd 14 – Assisted a Sherburne Deputy on a suspicious activity call.  
  • Fraud – Loon Dr – Unauthorized charge on credit card.
  • Lockout – Powell St – Children locked in a vehicle. Unlocked. 
  • Theft – Norwood Ln – Report taken. 
  • DWI – Hwy 10/137th St – Traffic stop for speed on Hwy 10. Contacted the driver that showed signs of impairment. DWI investigation conducted and the driver was arrested.

  • Trespass – Minnesota Ave – Juveniles walking across property and being disrespectful while doing so.
  • Fraud – Park Ave – Banking information given over the phone before realizing it was a scam. 

Monday, June 24, 2024

  • Theft – Polk St – Report taken. 
  • Juvenile Complaint – Karen Ln – Juvenile entered garage without permission and took item. 
  • Road Hazard – Hwy 10/168th – Misc items in eastbound lane of Highway 10. Removed.
