  • Agency Assist – 221st Ave – Assisted a Sherburne Deputy on a domestic call.
  • Agency Assist – Eagle Lk Rd/Martin Ave – Assisted Sherburne Deputy during a traffic stop.
  • Property Damage – Range Pole Pt – Report taken.
  • Public Assist – Fern St/Minnesota Ave – Helped a party get home safely. 
  • Lift Assist – Independence Dr – Assisted uninjured party from the floor.

Saturday, June 15, 2024

  • Crash – Park Ave/Co Rd 43 – Vehicle drove around a road closed barricade and scratched the side of the vehicle. 
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10/Railroad Overpass – Assisted State Patrol with a single vehicle rollover crash.
  • DWI – Fern St – An officer saw a driver do a door ding. Contact was made and the officer found the driver appeared impaired. A DWI investigation was conducted, and the driver was arrested. 
  • Lift Assist – Lakeshore Dr – Assisted a party from the floor, back into bed.

  • Agency Assist – Co Rd 43/211th Ave – Assisted a Sherburne Deputy during a DWI investigation. 
  • Loud Noise Complaint – Henry Rd – People outside being loud.
  • Dog Bite – Trillium Ln – Report received, and investigation begun.
  • Agency Assist – Co Rd 5 – Assisted Sherburne Deputy with a vehicle that crashed into a tree.
  • Agency Assist – 205th Ave – Assisted Sherburne Deputy check the area of an Iphone message that said the owner was involved in a severe crash. Nothing found.

  • Disturbance – Cresent St – Report of people outside being loud.
  • Theft – Rose Dr – Theft from a business.
  • Lift Assist – Norwood Ln – Assisted uninjured party from the floor.
  • Warrant Arrest – Hwy 10/168th St – A traffic stop was conducted for the owner showing a warrant. The owner was contacted and arrested. 
  • Drone Deployments – Water Towers – The drone was used for aerial inspection of the tops of the city’s water towers to inspect for damage from recent storms.

  • Fireworks Complaint – Maple Ln – Report of possible shot heard. Officer investigated and found it was a firework. 
  • Vandalism – Pond View Dr/206th Ave – Damage to neighborhood library box. 
  • Road Hazard – Foley Ave/Powell St S – Powerline down along the side of the roadway. Officer on scene until relieved by FD.

Tuesday, June 11, 2024

  • Crash – Jefferson Blvd – A vehicle driving on Hwy 10 lost a tire which left the roadway and struck and damaged a business. No one was injured. 
  • ATV Complaint – Forest Rd – Report of ATV driven in a park which is against city ordinance. 
  • Ordinance Violation – Highland Trl – Spoke with resident about ordinance violations. 
  • Theft – Co Rd 43 – Report of a missing bicycle.
  • Fire – 198th Ave – Responded to fire alarm. Equipment suppression system put the fire out prior to officer/fire’s arrival. 
  • Agency Assist – 172nd Ave – Assisted Sherburne Deputy on a medical emergency call.

Monday, June 10, 2024

  • Warrant Arrest – Highland Trl – An officer on patrol saw a party with a warrant walking along the roadway. The party was contacted and arrested. 
  • Warrant Arrest – Station St – Officers called to contact a party with a warrant. Party taken into custody. 
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10 – Assisted Elk River PD in positioning for deployment of stop sticks if a fleeing vehicle entered the City of Big Lake. 
  • Burglary – Rose Dr – Officers responded to a security alarm at a business and found signs of forced entry. Sherburne County Deputies and Elk River PD assisted in searching for a suspect. The scene was processed for evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
