  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10/Co Rd 17 – Assisted State Patrol on a two vehicle and bicyclist crash.
  • Fraud – Junegrass Dr – Large transfer occurred. Unknown how. Report taken for bank. 

Saturday, June 8, 2024

  • Loud Music – Fair Meadows – Requested officers speak to resident about noise.
  • Agency Assist – Central Ave – Assisted Becker PD on a mental health call.
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10/147th St – Assisted State Patrol with a party walking in the median.
  • Found Bicycle – Hill St – Bicycle left on side of road. Brought back to the PD. (Unsecure bicycles are an easy target for juveniles and adults looking for a faster means of transportation. Officers do take theft reports but, without the serial #, the bicycle cannot be entered into the national stolen property database. For this reason, many bicycles are stolen and not reunited with their owner. Snap a pic of your bike’s serial # and keep it secure.)
  • Crash – Independence – Vehicle vs. bicyclist. No injuries.
  • Crash – Jefferson Blvd – Caller wanted a past action collision in a parking lot documented.
  • Agency Assist – 224th Ave – Assisted Sherburne Deputies with an attempted theft that just occurred. Suspects were located. 
  • Juvenile Complaint – Martin Ave – Contacted juveniles out after curfew. (City ordinance places a curfew of 10pm-5am on juveniles younger than 15. Juveniles 15-17 have a curfew of midnight-5am. This is the same every day of the week, all year.)
  • Lift Assist – Addison Way – Assisted ambulance crew move a patient back into a residence.
  • Juvenile Complaint – Will St – Contacted juveniles out in violation of curfew.

Friday, June 7, 2024

  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10/Industrial Dr – Transported a dog to the Monticello Animal Control building for a State Trooper that arrested the driver for DWI.
  • Ordinance Violation – Lakeside Park – Contacted group having a fire in the park after the 10pm closing time.
  • Lake St/Norwood Dr – Lawnmower in the traffic lane. Was moved to the side of the road.
  • ATV Complaint – Prairie Dr – Report of ATV being driven in violation of city ordinances.
  • Fire – Sterling Dr – Clothes dryer on fire. BLFD extinguished the fire.
  • Found Property – Lakeside Park – Two items turned over that were found at recent events.
  • Gas Odor – Ormsbee St – Notified company of odor from pump station. 

Thursday, June 6, 2024

  • Hit and Run – Rose Dr – Parked vehicle damaged in a parking lot. 
  • Community Policing – Lakeside Park – First Music in the Park for 2024.
  • Juvenile Complaint – Hiawatha Ave – Juveniles stole rocks from a residence and became belligerent when confronted. 
  • Warrant – Marketplace Dr – Property manager called for assistance with the trespass process. The party in question was found to have a warrant and was arrested upon contact. 
  • Property Damage – Northstar St – A young looking person entered a construction site, caused damage, and graffitied. 
  • Community Policing – BL High School – ECFE Summer Kickoff event. 
  • Parking Complaint – Junegrass Dr – Report of a vehicle parked on the street longer than the 72-hour city ordinance allows. 

Wednesday, June 5, 2024

  • Agency Assist – Lake St S – Accompanied a Sherburne Investigator on a case.
  • Agency Assist – Maple Ln – Accompanied Sherburne HHS to a home visit.
  • Gas Odor – Humboldt Dr – Odor inside a business. Evacuated and worked with FD to locate the source. Gas company contacted to respond. 
  • Public Assist – Hwy 25/Co Rd 17 – Vehicle occupant unable to get home safely. Assisted with safe transportation. 
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 25/Co Rd 17 – Backed a Wright County Deputy on a traffic stop. 

Tuesday, June 4, 2024

  • Agency Assist – 218th Ave – Assisted Sherburne Deputy with a medical emergency.
  • Juvenile Complaint – Eagle Lake Rd N – Resident received harassment and property damage from groups of juveniles for signs and flag displayed. 
  • Animal Complaint – Eagle Lake Rd S – Complaint of a resident keeping a rooster in violation of city ordinance.
  • Public Assist – Eagle Lake Rd N – Child approached an officer stating they were lost. Assisted child locate guardian. 
  • Agency Assist – Henry Rd – Accompanied Sherburne Deputy on an eviction. 
  • 911 Hang Up – Henry Rd – Dispatch heard voices arguing on the call then line went dead and unable to regain contact. No answer at the door and nothing was heard from outside. 

Monday, June 3, 2024

  • Found Animals – Several calls of found dogs. They were either held by the caller or brought to the Monticello Animal Control building.  
  • Fire – Plymouth Ave – Lighting struck and electrical pole causing the power to go out, a line to come down, and the pole to catch on fire.
