  • CO Alarm – Loon Dr – Responded with FD. Determined it was caused by expired detectors, no gas present. 
  • Disturbance – Norwood Dr – Mediated an issue between residents. 
  • Theft – Maple Ln – Report taken of items stolen from a vehicle. 
  • Civil – Station St – Called to residence to assist with property retrieval. The other party was found to have a warrant and was arrested. 

Saturday, March 30, 2024

  • Security Alarm – 204th Ave – Accidental trip by homeowner. 
  • Traffic Stop – Hwy 10/Co Rd 14 – Stop for speed and lane violation. DWI investigation conducted and driver who was subsequently arrested for DWI.  
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 25 – Assisted Wright Co Deputy locate a vehicle from a suspicious circumstance in Monticello that left and entered Big Lake.

  • Hit and Run – Henry Rd – A vehicle damaged property and left. Evidence gathered. 
  • Agency Assist – Lake St S – Assisted State Patrol with a vehicle that left the roadway and struck a detached garage.

  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10/Co Rd 43 – Assisted State Patrol with a possible injury crash.
  • Runaway – Pleasant Ave – Report taken. 

Wednesday, March 27, 2024

  • Hazardous Road Condition – Lake St S – Report of a railroad tie protruding several inches. Railroad notified. 
  • Disturbance – Marketplace Dr – Investigated a report of damaging property.
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10/172nd St – Assisted State Patrol with an injury crash. 
  • Lift Assist – Norwood Ln – Assisted uninjured person into a chair. 
  • Crash – Loon Dr/196th St – Property damage crash investigated. 
  • Public Assist – 168th St/Marketplace Dr – Attempted to assist motorist move broken down vehicle.

  • Public Assist – Co Rd 43 – Officer saw a party walking in blizzard like conditions and assisted party home safely. 
  • Security Alarm – Marketplace Dr – No problems found. 

Monday, March 25, 2024

  • Fire – January St – Report of smoke coming from a residence. Investigated and found the cloud was not smoke. 
  • Fraud – Minnesota Ave – Party received a call from a “federal officer” claiming there was an investigation into drug trafficking and suggesting party make a payment.
