- Suspicious Vehicle – Lena Trl – Requested to check an occupied vehicle parked in front of a residence for an extended period. Contacted. No problems.
- Juvenile Complaint – Henry Rd – Juveniles running through an underground garage. Checked the garage and area.
- Gas Leak – Loon Dr – Responded with FD who conducted readings.
- Traffic Stop – Eagle Lk Rd N/Minnesota Ave – Stopped for expired registration and owner showing a warrant. Driver was the owner. The warrant was to have the party pay a small bail fee and sign a promise to appear in court. Payment received and document signed.
- Suspicious Person – Eagle Lk Rd N – Report of a party running with few clothes on and a vehicle circling the area. Located the party and vehicle. Investigated and learned an assault occurred. The party in the vehicle was arrested for domestic assault. Booked into Sherburne Jail.
- Traffic Stop – Hwy 10/137th St – A DWI project shift car stopped a vehicle for expired registration. Marijuana was smelled inside the passenger compartment. The driver was under 21 years old. The vehicle was searched and 21.5 grams of substance that tested positive for marijuana was located. The driver was in violation of underage possession and open container in a passenger vehicle. Citation issued to the driver.
- Agency Assist – Hwy 15000 block of Hwy 10 – Checked the area for a motorcycle involved in an incident in Elk River.
- Agency Assist – Hwy 10/Liberty Ln – Assisted Becker PD with the use of a PBT on a DWI investigation.
- Public Assist – Hwy 10/Lake St S – An officer on patrol noticed a party walking with a limp while carrying groceries. The officer offered to give the party a ride home, which was accepted.

- Drone Assist – Co Rd 50/170th St – Used drone in searching from the air for the driver of a crashed vehicle.
- Agency Assist – Co Rd 50/170th St - Assisted County in responding to a vehicle crash. Vehicle was found running, unoccupied, and having personal belongings in the vehicle.
- Traffic Complaint – Traverse Ln – Spoke to driver of the vehicle that received a complaint.
- Check the Welfare – Lake St S – Officers called to check on a party that appeared to be under the influence. The party was located driving away. The party parked the vehicle, entered a business, ran through the business, and was found hiding in the dumpster area of a business across the street. A K9 was called in to assist in sniffing the vehicle for the presence of drugs. A DUI investigation was conducted. The driver was arrested for DUI. A warrant was obtained, and sample collected. The party was booked into Sherburne Jail.
- Lift Assist – Norwood Ln – Uninjured party needed assistance from the floor.
- Theft – Sterling Dr – Bicycle taken overnight. Report taken.
- Community Policing – BLPD – Car seat inspection conducted at the PD.
- Drone Assist – Hwy 10/97th St – Assisted with aerial search for the driver of a vehicle involved in a crash that killed an occupant.
- Agency Assist – Hwy 10/97th St – Assisted State Patrol on a two-vehicle crash with an occupant fatality.

- Suspicious Activity – Station St – Party receiving calls from an “unknown caller” stating they had a warrant for their arrest and would be arrested if they did not make a payment. Party was offered the ability to make a payment over the phone. The party instead called LE to verify there were no legal issues on record. The party did not have any warrants.
- Crash – Eagle Lk Rd N – Party reported a crash occurred in a business parking lot. The other driver gave limited, incomplete, information and left. The officer found the identity of the driver that left. The driver had a suspended driver’s license. The driver was mailed a citation for driving while suspended and not having insurance.
- Property Damage – Lake St S – Vehicle keyed while in a parking lot. Investigation ongoing.

- Agency Assist – 195th St – Assisted County on a medical emergency call.
- Misc Officer – Hiawatha Ave/Bermuda Ave – Report of a power line cable down. Investigated and contacted power company.

- Suspicious Activity – Co Rd 43/203rd Ave – An officer on patrol noticed a business building door open. Officers checked the business, secured it, and contacted the owner.
- Hit and Run – Eagle Lk Rd N – Collision occurred in a business parking lot. Caller requested assistance obtaining information from the other driver. Information gathered.
- Traffic Stop – Hwy 25/3rd St, Monticello – Stopped for lane violations. DWI investigation conducted. Driver was arrested. A warrant was obtained, sample collected, and the party was booked into Sherburne Jail.
Tuesday, August 15, 2023
- Warrant Attempt – Rose Dr – An officer ran a vehicle registration and obtained a “hit” that the owner had a Wright County warrant. Officers remained in the area to watch for the owner and checked a business. Officers were called by the business for a party not acting right. Officers made contact and found the party having a medical episode was the same party with the warrant. An ambulance was called and transported the party. Wright County was notified of the situation.
- Fire Alarm – Helen Way – Smoke detectors going off in a residence. PD responded with fire. No problems found besides old smoke detectors.
- Disturbance – Henry Rd – Mediated a disturbance between tenant and management.
- Traffic Complaint – Lake St/Martin Ave – Complaint of speed. Officers tied up on other calls.
- Agency Assist – Hwy 10/Co Rd 17 – Pursuit heading eastbound Highway 10 toward Big Lake. Officer setup to use stop sticks if vehicle continued toward Big Lake. Suspect vehicle turned southbound on County Rd 11.
- Crash – Eagle Lk Rd S – Motorcycle crash with injury.
- Fraud – Pond View Cir – Party did a misdial. The number dialed began calling and texting with threats of violence for wrongdoing if money was not paid to make it right. A demand for money was made. Money was sent through a cash app.
- Traffic Complaint – Co Rd 43/Hwy 10 – Information received about a past action issue. Request to contact the trucking company owning the vehicle. Contact made.
- Security Alarm – Harrison Dr – Responded. No problems found.

- Traffic Stop – Co Rd 81/204th Ave – Stopped for speed and lane violation. DWI investigation conducted with the driver. Driver arrested for DWI, tested, and booked into Sherburne Jail.
- Suspicious Activity – Lee St – Officers called to check a residence. They did not find anyone or signs of forced entry.
- Theft – Rose Dr – Theft report from a business sent to BLPD Investigations for charging.
- Public Assist – Hwy 10/168th St – Officer checked a vehicle on the side of the road. Vehicle broke down and needed a tow.
- 911 Hang Up – Station St – Call asking to speak to police, but no further information provided. Officers located the party and learned an assault occurred. Investigated and arrested a party for domestic assault. Party booked into Sherburne Jail.
