  • Park Patrol – Lakeside Park – Called to the park for issues with a patron. Patrolled the park. Enforced parking fee. 
  • Found Property – Co Rd 43 – Found cell phone turned in at PD. Owner located and retrieved (The thank you cookies were great, and they appreciate who found and turned it in!). 
  • Traffic Complaint – Sterling Dr – Vehicle speeding through neighborhood. Area checked.
  • Lost Property – Delta St – Lost wallet reported in case it was stolen. 
  • Community Policing Activity – BLPD – Two car seat inspections performed. 
  • Traffic Stop – Hwy 10/Co Rd 14 – Stop for lane violation. Drug material led to a vehicle search. Small amount of controlled substance found. Report for review for charges.

  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10/Phyllis St – Assisted a State Tropper during a DWI investigation. 
  • Disturbance – Pond View Ln – Mediated and documented an issue between neighbors. 
  • Traffic Complaint – Lake St S – Received information about a party that drinks and drives.
  • Crash – Marketplace Dr – Two vehicle crash on private property. Documented. 
  • Found Property – Jefferson Blvd – Received a found wallet. Returned to owner.
  • Suspicious Activity – Traverse – Report of someone talking to their child through the baby camera system. 

Friday, July 21, 2023

  • Disturbance – Rose Dr – Responded and investigated. No problems found.
  • Crash – Rose/Phyllis – Two vehicle crash. While investigating, the officer noticed a driver showed signs of impairment. A DWI investigation was conducted, and the driver was arrested for DWI. The driver was tested, cited, and booked into Sherburne Jail. 
  • Crash – Co Rd 43/Glenwood Ave – Two vehicles. No injuries. Investigated. 
  • Suspicious Person – February St – Report of suspicious person and vehicle that pulled up to house. Vehicle left and was not located by officers.
  • Juvenile Complaint – Minnesota Ave – Neighbor trouble. Spoke to parent about behavior.
  • Dog Complaint – Eagle Lk Rd S – Aggressive dog at large. Owner spoken with.
  • Dog Complaint – January St – Dog at large. Owner spoken with.
  • Suspicious Activity – Sterling Dr – Report of a loud pounding on front door overnight. Nothing seen in dew or cameras.
  • Agency Assist – Eagle Lk Rd N – Assisted deputy on a juvenile runaway call. Located juvenile.
  • Suspicious Activity – Sterling Dr – Pounding on front door of residence. Officers checked the area but did not locate anyone.
  • Traffic Stop – Co Rd 14/Hwy 10 – Stop for lane violations. Odor of marijuana from vehicle. Vehicle searched and substance located. Driver exhibited signs of impairment. DUI investigation conducted. Driver arrested for DUI. Blood warrant obtained. Driver booked into Sherburne Jail.

  • Warrant – Maple Ln – Attempted an arrest warrant. Party located, arrested, and booked into Sherburne Jail.
  • Fire – Aberdeen Way – Report of a garbage can on fire. Fire out on arrival. 
  • Dog Complaint – Donna Ct – Barking dog complaint. Owner spoken with.
  • Agency Assist – 218th Ave – Assisted deputy on a juvenile in the process of running away.
  • Traffic Complaint – Hwy 25/Co Rd 14 – Assisted deputy on a traffic complaint.
  • Fraud – Shady Ln – Report made of possible insurance fraud from a prior owned vehicle. 
  • Pick Up Order – Station St – Probations sent officers a pick up request. Party located, arrested, and booked into Sherburne Jail. 
  • Traffic Complaint – Gordon Ln – Complaint of speeders and an unlicensed driver.

  • Fireworks Complaint – Bluff/Mitchell Ridge Dr – Bottle rockets shooting from a vehicle driving down the road. Unable to locate the vehicle. 
  • 911 Hang Up – Mitchell Rd – Responded. Appeared to be an issue with the phone line.
  • Agency Assist – Co Rd 14 – Assisted deputy on a security alarm. Accidental trip.
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10/168th St – Assisted State Patrol during a vehicle search with narcotics located. 
  • Suspicious Activity – Marketplace Dr – Officer checked a parked vehicle with the door open. No one found.

  • Agency Assist – 209th Ave – Cell phone sent a “crash detection” message to dispatch. An officer assisted deputies by responding. A motorcycle operator dropped their phone which caused the message to be sent.
  • Public Assist – Hwy 10/Co Rd 43 – Provided lights while a motorist resecured a load strap that came undone.
  • Public Assist – Hwy 10/Co Rd 81 – Assisted a motorist load and resecure an item that came off a trailer. 
  • Disturbance – Ormsbee St – Mediated an issue between neighbors.
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10/Co Rd 81 – Assisted State Patrol on an injury crash. 
  • Public Assist – Hwy 10/172nd St – Provided lights for a semi driver with a load that came loose and needed to be resecured. 
  • Funeral Escort – Hwy 10 – Provided an escort through the intersections of Hwy 10.
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 25/Co Rd 11 – Report from an iPhone that the owner was in a “serious crash”. Responding to assist deputies until State Patrol advised no problems were found.
  • Drone Assist – 100th St SE – Assisted deputies with aerial search for a domestic assault suspect that fled the victim’s residence.

  • Dog Complaint – Independence Dr – Report of a Dangerous Dog off leash. Dog not located.
  • Dog Complaint – Kilbirnie Rd – Two dogs running loose ran at caller’s children. Owner was located and collected the dogs. Cited for dog at large.
  • Agency Assist – Co Rd 17/Hwy 25 – Assisted State Patrol on a traffic complaint. 
  • Agency Assist – Tarry Town Rd/Lake St S – Assisted State Patrol with an elderly driver that was lost. Family contacted to pick up driver. 
  • Animal Complaint – Katrina Ln – Chickens at large. Spoke with owner about ordinance. 
  • Security Alarm – Jefferson Blvd – Responded and contacted an employee. Accidental trip.
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 10 – Assisted State Patrol on an injury crash. Vehicle towed. 
  • Suspicious Vehicle – Eagle Lk Rd N – Checked a vehicle that was occupied. Party was visiting a loved one’s gravesite. 
  • Juvenile Complaint – Henry Rd – Juveniles being loud and unruly. Spoken with.
  • Disturbance – Loon Dr – Report of two loud pops that caused dogs to alarm. Area checked, no source found.
