  • Public Assist – Station St – PD and FD responded to a party stuck in an elevator. 
  • Dog Complaint – Powell St – Complaint of a dog barking.
  • Juvenile Complaint – Pleasant Ave – Assisted a parent with a juvenile out of control.
  • Agency Assist – 197th Ave – Assisted deputy on a burglary in progress call. 
  • Loud Noise – Atlantic Blvd – Officer asked to speak to homeowner about loud music.
  • Property Damage – Lakeside Park – A canopy tent blew into two parked vehicles. 
  • Security Alarm – Rose Dr – Responded. Tripped by employee.
  • Community Policing – City Wide – Delivered BLPD “slow down” yard signs as requested. 
  • Crossarm Malfunction – Checked crossings and shared information with BNSF. 
  • Security Alarm – 176th St – Responded. Tripped by an employee.

  • Public Assist – William St/Henry Rd – Water main leak. Public Works contacted.
  • Public Assist – BLPD – Party with questions about a domestic that occurred in another city.
  • ATV Complaint – Lena Trl – Contacted an ATV driven by a juvenile not wearing a helmet. Also spoke with owner about proper use in the city.
  • Littering – Tarrytown Rd – Papers thrown out of a moving vehicle. Owner contacted.
  • Theft – Station St – Report of a stolen bicycle taken.
  • Crimes Against Justice – Loon Dr – Report received of possible order violation. 
  • Traffic Complaint – Lakeside Park – Vehicle conducted a burnout in the parking lot. Driver contacted and cited for violation. 
  • Agency Assist – Drake Cir – Hubbard County Deputy requested assistance with follow up on a dog incident in their county.
  • Parking Complaint – Station St – Vehicle parked in handicap space. Driver spoken with.
  • Found Animal – Hill St – Found dog turned over to PD. Owner retrieved from the PD.
  • Warrant Arrest – Eagle Lk Rd N – A vehicle registration check showed the owner had a warrant. Contact was made and the owner was located in the vehicle. The warrant was confirmed by Carver County and the party was taken into custody. 
  • Lift Assist – Eagle Lk Rd S – Assisted an uninjured party into bed. 
  • Crash – Hwy 10/Lake St – Property damage crash.

  • Loud Noise – Harrison Dr – Spoke to residents about complaint received and ordinance. 
  • Conservation – Highland Trl – Responded to a snapping turtle in a yard. It was moved closer to a wetland area. 
  • Disturbance – Jefferson Blvd – Party inside a business acting odd. Party asked to move along from the property. Message delivered by an officer. 
  • Assault – Jefferson Blvd – Past action assault report taken. Investigation begun.
  • Security Alarm – 198th Ave – Responded. Employee trip. 
  • Fraud – Delta St – Fraud report taken for forged checks.
  • Open Door – Jefferson Blvd – Door found unsecure during a business check. Checked and secured. 

Thursday, June 8, 2023

  • Gas Leak/Smell – Gas stove left on. Officer responded with BLFD. 
  • Trespass – Jefferson Blvd – Assisted trespassing parties from a business.
  • Traffic Complaint – Pond View Cir – Vehicle swerved in the direction of a child on the side of the road. Investigation begun as stories were inconsistent. 
  • Crash – Lake St/Hwy 10 – Property damage crash. 
  • Traffic Complaint – Co Rd 43/Hwy 10 – Unable to locate the vehicle in city limits. 
  • Conservation – Harrison Dr – Report of an injured deer in a backyard. The deer left the area prior to officer’s response. 
  • Disturbance – Rose Dr – Past action report of a disturbance from a customer. 

Wednesday, June 7, 2023

  • Security Alarm – Harrison Dr – Responded. Secure. Later requested to conduct a welfare check at the residence.
  • Suspicious Person – Shady Ln – Walking into the roadway. Spoken with.
  • Warrant Arrest – Lake Ridge Dr – Officers received information on a resident with a warrant. Officers contacted the party, took the party into custody, and transferred to Anoka County. 
  • Agency Assist – Co Rd 43 – Assisted a deputy on an injury crash that lead to a DWI investigation. 
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 25/Co Rd 11 – Watched for a traffic complaint from Monticello.
  • 911 Hang Up – Lakeshore Dr – Checked the area. No problems found.
  • Suspicious Activity – Ridge Cir – Situation documented.
  • Fight – Lakeside Park – Report of juveniles fighting. Officers responded and spoke to juveniles that said they were “play fighting”.
  • Hazardous Road Condition – Hwy 10/Lakeshore Dr – Removed tree branches from roadway.
  • Community Policing – Minnesota Ave – Officers stopped out at an ECFE event. 
  • Juvenile Complaint – Lakeside Park – Two juveniles with airsoft guns shooting in the park. Juveniles left prior to officer’s arrival. 
  • Dog Complaint – Harrison Dr – Barking dogs outside. 
  • Community Policing – 205th Ave – Stopped out at an ECFE activity. 
  • Suspicious Person – Tarrytown Rd/Harrison – Party acting odd. Spoken with by officer.
  • Traffic Stop – Hwy 10/Co Rd 81 – Stop for exhaust violation. Driver had a felony warrant and was placed into custody. Suspected controlled substance was located on the person. 

Tuesday, June 6, 2023

  • Suspicious Activity – Waseca St/Hiawatha Ave – Caller heard someone yelling help. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate anyone needing help.
  • 911 Hang Up – Henry Rd – Responded. Child called 911 with a smartphone.  
  • Dog Complaint – Lake St N – Dog left yard barking and following the caller. 
  • Suspicious Activity – Norwood Ln – Requested to check a party. Party contacted.
  • Juvenile Complaint – Lakeside Park – Report of a juvenile that has possession of a handgun looking object. Officers investigated the report. It was learned a juvenile brought a dark bb handgun to the park but already left.
  • Traffic Complaint – Hwy 10/Eagle Lk Rd N – Vehicle all over the road. Unable to locate. 
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 25/Co Rd 17 – Assisted State Patrol on a rollover crash. 
  • Juvenile Complaint – Big Lake – Juveniles throwing rocks into the lake. Unable to locate.

Monday, June 5, 2023

  • Traffic Complaint – Eagle Lk Rd N – Report of erratic driving. Unable to handle as called away. 
  • 911 Hang Up – Tarrytown Rd – Responded. Child playing with a smartphone. 
  • Disturbance – Monroe St – Altercation between neighbors over driving conduct. Mediated.
  • 911 Hang Up – Minnesota Ave – Call from an apartment building. Contacted management about ongoing issue.
  • Dumping Complaint – Co Rd 43 – Items placed in and outside a private dumpster. Investigation begun to identify the party that dumped to be charged. 
  • Agency Assist – Co Rd 50 – Assisted a deputy on a house fire. 
  • Agency Assist – Hwy 25/Co Rd 11 – Assisted Wright County on a traffic stop 
  • Suspicious Vehicle – Lakeside Park – Parties in the park after 10pm close. Parties also warned for midnight curfew.
  • Disturbance – Harrison Dr/Justice Pl – Juveniles walking along the street being loud.
