Memorial Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Faith Lutheran Church in Becker, MN for Wanda D. McMichael, 67 who passed away on Saturday at St. Benedicts Nursing Home. Pastor Yolanda Denson-Byers will officiate and inurnment will be at the Hanover Cemetery in Hanover, MN. Visitation for family and friends will be 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Church.  Arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Becker. 

Wanda was born March 10, 1955 in Buffalo, MN to Harvey and Polly (Bitzer) Schleif. She graduated from Becker High School in May, 1973 and after graduation moved to St. Cloud.  She moved to Germany for 7 years. She came back to Colorado and lived there for 6 years before moving to Germany. When she returned to the States she resided in Alabama and Wanda worked at Wal-Mart for over 30 years, retired in 2012. Wanda moved to MN in 2015, residing in St. Cloud, MN. She loved the Atlantic Braves, Minnesota Twins, loved cooking/baking, and her many cats over the years.  

Wanda is survived by her mother, Polly Anderson of Becker; brother, Bruce Schleif of West Virginia, Ken (Mary Jane) Schleif of Becker, Mark Schleif of Monticello, Jerry (Jodi) Schleif of Becker; sisters Carol (Dennis) Heath of Elk River, Marilyn (Steve) Peatrowsky of Annandale, Audrey (Matt) Straw of Clear Lake, Peggy (Bill) Hickman of Becker, Linda (Jim) Messerich of St. Cloud; godson, Adam (Angie) Struffert of St. Joseph and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; one aunt and many cousins. She is preceded in death by, her father; grandparents; great grandparents; niece Jennifer, and three cousins.
