Memorial Services will be at a later date for Shirley L. McLerran, age 64, who passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at her home in Becker. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Becker.

Shirley was born November 15, 1960 in Elwood, Indiana to Robert and Eleanor Lee (Smith) Waymire. She married Clyde McLerran, Jr. on September 15, 1984 at Friends Church in Westfield, Indiana. Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed being home with her children. She enjoyed going to activities at church and being in nature. She loved her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren. 

Shirley is survived by her children, Renee (Richard) Ward of Becker and Wesley McLerran of Zimmerman; grandchildren, Anara, Wyatt and Malcolm; siblings, Jarrel (Janice) Waymire of Elwood, IN, Linda (Mark) Murphy of Chelsea, MI, Dennis (Patricia) Waymire of Lakeland, FL, Cindy Merritt of Washington Courthouse, OH, Steve (Becky) Waymire of Warsaw, IN; brother-in-law, Jimmy Carter of Jamesville, NC; step-siblings, Claudia Ferguson, David Olsen and Kevin Olsen.

She is preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Jean Waymire; husband, Clyde; brother-in-law, Mark Merritt; sister-in-law, Gloria Carter; and step brother, Paul Olsen.
