Roseann was born Sept. 18, 1938 at the Joe Clitty Farm in rural Becker. She was the only child of Herman and Rose “Clitty” Thelitz. She grew up in and lived her whole life in rural Becker/Santiago Township. She graduated from Becker High School in 1956. Married James Pittman on Feb. 21, 1958 at the Episcopal Church in Becker.

 

She spent her working career at Fingerhut in St Cloud and many years at the Becker School District as a janitor and teacher's aide.

 

Her hobbies were going to auctions for antiques, going to stock car races, vacationing in the United States and loved to make homemade jams and jellies for her church events and family and friends. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was known for her great sense of humor. She also loved to spend time with her church family.

 

She passed away after a battle with lung cancer Feb. 27.

 

Survivors are: Husband, James, son, Norman, daughters, Trudy (Brian) Johnson and Judy Welch along with grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin and Jarrod Johnson. Also survived is brother in-law, Don Pittman, sister in-laws, Alice Klatt and Donna Keeler.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Rose, son Daniel and daughter Carmae.

 

The family would prefer all memorials go to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Elk River. (Mail donations to 1326-4th St NW Elk River, MN 55330).

 

Funeral services will be held on March 7 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Elk River. Visiting hour at 10 a.m. and Church Services at 11 a.m.
