Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Mon., Nov. 21 at South Santiago Lutheran Church in rural Clear Lake for Marlene J. Hollinder, age 85, who passed away Tuesday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Rev. Michael Pancoast will officiate and burial will be at the Clear Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Monday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Clear Lake.
Marlene was born March 1, 1931 in Anoka to William & Martha (Abbott) Brown. She married Robert Hollinder on March 17, 1951 in Minneapolis. Marlene was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved gardening, camping, reading and wintering in warmer climates. Marlene was very kind, loving, generous, always remembered everyone’s birthday, anniversary or special event in their lives and had a warm hug for anyone who came to visit. She especially loved Christmas, always making sure everyone had a gift to open.
Survivors include her husband Robert of Becker; daughters and son, Kathy (Gary) Kiffmeyer of St. Cloud, Kris (Loren) Eilers of Watertown, SD, Judy (Allan) Eilers of Clear Lake, Linda (Dale) Jones of Coon Rapids and David of Clear Lake; siblings, Dixie Bensen, Donna Stucky, Bonnie Posterick and Judy Disselbritt; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
