Margaret M. Thiel, 73, of St. Cloud, formerly of Clear Lake. Funeral Services were Fri. Feb. 12, at Harvest Fellowship Church, 400 2nd Ave. N., Sauk Rapids, MN. Visitation was one hour before service. 

 

Margaret passed away peacefully in her home. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was born in Mankato to Gregory and Mary (Fitzpatrick) Zimny. She grew up on the family farm in Waseca, graduated from Sacred Heart High School and was beauty school graduate.

 

She married Emmett Thiel on July 29, 1961 in Waseca, MN. She was a long-time employee and retiree of Electrolux in St. Cloud. 

 

Survivors include her children Samuel (Susan) of Minto, ND, Vincent of Waite Park, Bradley (Ann) of Elk River, Miles (Ruth) of Glenwood, Melissa (Ervan) Christopherson of Becker and Gwen of St. Cloud; Grandchildren Vanessa, Carissa, Cory and Kayla; great-grandchildren Abree; sister Loretta (Terry) Ratajczyk of Circle Pines and brother, Raymond 9Linda) Zimny of Waseca; and Margaret’s fiance, Michael Borgheiinck. 

 

She was proceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law; husband; son Peter and brother Norbert.
