Lynette “Lonnie” A. (Gunderson) Christopherson, age 84, of Becker, Minnesota peacefully passed away June 30, 2024, at the St. Cloud Hospital.  Lonnie is preceded in death by her husband Oliver “Ollie” Christopherson, parents Ervan Gunderson and Ida (Green) Carlson; brother, James Gunderson, sister, Sylvia (Gunderson) Nelson; half-brother, Mike Carlson; sons Kurt and Ervan Christopherson.

Survived by children Kathy Christopherson of St. Cloud, MN, Kirk (Nita) Christopherson of Becker, MN, Clint (Ann) Christopherson of West Plains, MO, Missy Christopherson of Becker, MN, Erik (Amy) Christopherson of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren Craig, Laura, Cory, Allison, Kayla and Nicholas; great-grandchildren Olive, Harper and Evelyn; half-brothers Dale, Dean and Mark Carlson, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lonnie was a follower of Jesus Christ.  She was patient, kind and gentle.  She lived her life to serve others, loved as Jesus loved and studied God’s word daily.  Lonnie had such a love for others with a stronger passion for Christ.  Her strong faith influenced her life, relationships and community contributions.  Her heart was so pure, and her smile would light up a room.  She was the heart and soul of our family, loving and supporting us through the good times and bad.  Lonnie and Ollie were fortunate to spend 60 amazing married years together where they spent their time raising their children in Becker, MN.  In their retirement, they were able to enjoy their time traveling the country in their motorhome visiting family, friends and making memories that lived on throughout Lonnie’s lifetime.  Lonnie was able to live a fiercely independent life until the very end when the Lord called her to join His kingdom and reunite with the loved ones that she has missed for so long.  We will all miss her deeply.

Memorial services will be held at South Santiago Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, MN by Pastor Allison Peterson.  Services will be held on August 17, 2024, at 11:00am followed by a private burial with immediate family.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Saturday morning.
