Lloyd Kampa, 82, St. Cloud, rural Duelm, died Tuesday May 20, 2014 at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, May 23, 2014 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Duelm. The Rev. Virgil Helmin will officiated. Burial was in the Parish Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home.
Lloyd Kampa was born March 13, 1932 in St. George Township, Benton Co. to Peter and Mary (Balder) Kampa. He married Josephine Regnier on May 28, 1953 at St.
Lawrence Catholic Church. Lloyd lived most of his life in St. George Township. He worked for Franklin Mfg. Co for over 40 years and was a member of the Local Union, 623. For the first 10 years after his retirement, the couple spent their winters in Arizona, where he made many good friends. He loved spending time with his grand children and great grandchildren. Lloyd enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his four wheeler. He was a Life Member of the Duelm Knight's of Columbus and St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Josephine, sons and daughter; Linda (Fred) Novak, Gilman; Tom (Cherie), Becker; Tim (Shirel), Ramsey; Kent, Duelm and Gary (Cindy), Duelm; brothers, Donald 'Buzz', St. Cloud and Mert, St. Cloud and nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Preceeded in death by sister, Marge Turner and brothers, Sylvester “Jack” and Robert “Bob” Kampa.
