Lance Anthony Klein, 60, Monticello, passed away July 10. Lanny was born on 11/20/56 in Monticello to Kenneth and Elizabeth Klein. He attended Monticello schools. Served in the U.S. Navy and was very proud of his service to our country. He was an outdoors man, active gardener, fishing or tinkering with a vehicle. He loved nature and wildlife.

 

He is survived by his only son, Anthony (Tony)  Michael James Brown, brothers; Gordon, Mike, Tom and Donny, many nieces and nephews, and his two cats. He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Honor Guard Ceremony was held July 23 at Ellison Park in Monticello. Memorial benefit followed at the Monticello VFW with a live/silent auction.
