Kenneth J. Miller, age 71 of Elk River, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, February 5, 2024.  He was born on Christmas day, December 25, 1952 in Valley City, ND.

Ken graduated in 1970 from Oriska High School, and continued on to college at North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND. He worked as a Machinist at Pomeroy Tool and then a Micro-Machinist at Remmele Engineering before retiring in 2016.

On June 29,1974, Ken and Rose were united in marriage. They lived in Jamestown, ND for 15 years before settling in Elk River, MN.

Ken enjoyed riding his motorcycles, fishing, and spending time outdoors with his family while grilling, camping, and gardening. Ken’s greatest joy in life was being a grandpa. He often took his grandkids on motorcycle rides, and attended all their dance recitals, concerts, and games. Ken loved cracking jokes and making everyone laugh.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy (Sherman) Miller; and siblings, Melvin, Arnold, Phyllis, and Raymond. 

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Rose Miller; children, Marsha Curtis, Teri (Zafar) Khamdamov, Eric (Laisha) Miller; grandchildren, Krisaundra Curtis, Aden Khamdamov, and Amena Khamdamova; siblings, Gay, Gayle, Larry, Cliff, Harvey, Mitch, Helen, Jake; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ken’s name are preferred to Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church in Big Lake, MN. 

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church, 440 Lake St. N, Big Lake, MN.
