Joseph Anthony Arthur of Big Lake, age 74, passed at St. Cloud Hospital June 7.

 

Survived by wife, Marilyn, of 43 years who he met on 6th and Hennepin Ave. in Minneapolis. They were married at the Little Brown Church in IA. Son Chad (Carol), daughter Angela, grandchildren Logan, Hanna and Madelyn. Great granddaughter Ohana.

 

Joe grew up in North Minneapolis, living behind the family grocery store on Logan and Lowry. He attended North High, class of 1960. Joe loved people, talking, dancing, and Music in the Park. He would often ask “Where do I know you from?” Joe held a variety of jobs, estimated at about sixty.

 

Also survived by brothers-in-law Don Johnson and Debbie, Glenn Johnson and Gwen, Sister-in-law Laurel Johnson, and many nieces and nephews. God bless you all!

 

Memorial Service 7 p.m. Mon., June 12 at Becker Baptist Church, 11951 Hancock St., Becker, with visitation one hour prior to service at the church.
