Jason Moeller left this world a bit dimmer on February 27, 2025, as he passed away shortly after turning 43. Jason was born on February 1, 1982, growing up in Becker, MN and lived in Minnetonka, MN at the time of his passing, leaving behind a legacy marked by his genuine warmth and artistic spirit.
Jason grew up spending so much time with his brother and cousins, loving sports, animals and cherishing days spent outdoors and on his grandparents’ farm. In High school, music and friendship took center stage. He and his band, Cross Kontrare, brought an undeniable energy to local venues like Java Z. He loved skateboarding and crafting ramps and rails, always a creative and adventurous spirit.
After graduating from Becker High School in 2000 and earning his degree in Visual Communications from Brown College in 2001, the creative pulse of Minneapolis called him. Settling in Uptown in 2002, Jason relished the eclectic lifestyle, forming lifelong friendships and immersing himself in music and the essence of the city. Jason started his own business, Mirk Graphics, which became a testament to his artistic flair and independent mindset.
In 2004, Jason met Jessica, his future wife and best friend. Their marriage in August 2011 was a beautiful union of shared dreams and unwavering support. Jason’s artistic endeavors were mirrored in his tranquil home life with Jessica and always surrounded by their beloved cats.
Jason was a dreamer with a practical streak, always sketching and making blueprints for unique projects and then building them to life. Family and friends were the heartbeat of his world, and he showed his love through consistent, meaningful presence and care.
Survived by his wife Jessica Moeller, his mother Kay (Armin) Metze, his brother Ryan (Hatti) Moeller, niece Avery Moeller and his grandmother Jeanette Smith.
