Harold “Mac” McWilliams passed away on his 86^th birthday, August 18^th, 2022 at his home in Big Lake with his loved ones by his side.

Mac was born August, 18^th, 1936 in Sioux Falls, Iowa to Glen and Ione McWilliams.  He served his country in the Air Force for four years.  After that, Mac attended Dunwoody and became an accomplished carpenter.  He worked many years as a maintenance manager at Stevens community where he was well liked by all.  He loved to teach others the skills he knew.  Mac had the best sense of humor and always had a joke to tell.  Mac’s family meant the world to him.

Mac is survived by his loving wife Mary, of 37 years, children and Bonus children; Deanna (Tim) Bunker, Greg (Paula) McWilliams, Gerald (Tina) McWilliams, Chuck (Jamey) Johnson, Teresa (Gary) Smith, Tammi Johnson, 12 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, sisters Joni, Anna and his beloved dog Benji.

Mac is preceded in death by his parents Glen and Ione, sisters Faith and Glenda, and Grandson Dustin.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Monticello on Friday, September 30^th at 11 a.m. Visitation is 1 hour prior to the service.
