Dennis V. Rossman, 70 Clearwater, MN May 28, 1953 - July 29, 2023

Dennis V. Rossman, age 70, of Clearwater, died Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the St. Cloud Hospital after a 16 month battle with cancer.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, August 4, 2023, at the Church of St. Luke in Clearwater with Fr. Dennis Backer as the Celebrant. Burial followed in St. Luke Cemetery. Visitation was held on Thursday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. A prayer service was held 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.

Dennis Vernon Rossman was born May 28, 1953, at the family farm in rural Watkins to Edwin and Marie (Hommerding) Rossman. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins, attended grade school at St. Anthony in Watkins, and graduated from Kimball High School with the Class of 1971. 

Denny grew up on the farm, working alongside his father until the farm was sold. Denny moved to St. Cloud, where he worked as a supervisor in the returns department for Fingerhut. While at Fingerhut, he met Nellie Mueller; they were united in marriage on May 11, 1974 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Melrose. Denny then worked at Malco in Annandale, retiring in 2010. He enjoyed farming, gardening, mowing the yard, and grilling. He was an avid Vikings fan that loved anything to do with Football. Denny cherished family gatherings, holidays, and spending time with his grandkids.

Denny is survived by his wife, Annella “Nellie” Rossman; children, Chris (Katrina) Rossman of Kimball and Robyn Rossman of Kimball; grandchildren, Aliya Ranta (Jake Hofschulte), Malory Ranta, Jordan Rossman, and Sabrina Rossman; sisters and brothers, Dianna Theis of Rexburg, ID, Char (Neil) Duncan of South Haven, Steve (Connie) Rossman of South Haven, Jan Michel of Ramsey, and Bob (Lorri) Rossman of South Haven; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Judy Rossman and Beverly Kuechle; and brothers-in-law, Jack Theis, Tony Kuechle, and Ken Michel.

Denny’s grandchildren served as urn bearers. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
