Our loving husband, dad, stepdad, granddad, brother and friend passed away peacefully at home after various cancers and a recent stroke.

He was an electrician with IBEW 292 and enjoyed the friendships he made there. He served four years in the Air Force Security Police and was cleared for Presidential Guard.

Predeceased by his parents Gerri and Jack Wambeke and two younger brothers in Minneota MN. Survived by wife Janet, son Todd (wife Ann and Son Sam), stepson Scott Van Bergen (wife Wendy, kids Emily (Jared) Lindberg, Ryan (Jasmin), stepdaughter Kim Reno and three brothers Patrick (Holly), Doug, Ron (Bev), a niece and nephews.. Per his request there will be no funeral, a simple internment at Fort Snelling only, on Sept. 6 at 12:30 p.m. in the care of the National Cremation Society.
