Darrolee Anderson, age 88 of Becker, formerly of Big Lake, passed away at her residence at Shepherd of Grace Apartments Wed., Dec. 2, surrounded by her family. Visitation will be Sun., Dec. 6, from 5-7 p.m. at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 East Broadway, Monticello. Funeral services will be Mon., Dec. 7, at 10 a.m. at Becker Baptist Church. Rev. Rob Olsen will officiate. Interment will be at Snake River Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello. Darrolee was born on April 8, 1927, in Monmouth, IL to Henry F. and Lucille (Welty) Maher. Her first 12 years were lived in Monmouth.

She then moved to Minneapolis where she met and married Cyrus Anderson Sept. 18, 1947. Darrolee is survived by her sons Jim (Kathleen) of Sequim, WA and Larry (Jeri) of Big Lake; son-in-law Chester Matsen of Oregon; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and her Becker Baptist family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lucille Maher; husband Cyrus; daughter Sharon Matsen; sister Barbara; and brother Phillip. Memorials are preferred to the Union Gospel Mission.
