Christopher James Vyskocil. Born November 18, 1987 to Gregory and Tammy (Johnson) Vyskocil at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN. Their family would grow within a few short years, welcoming a baby girl in August of 1990.
Cassie and Chris were known to engage in all sorts of silly behavior as siblings often do. The family home was in Champlin until 2005 when they moved to Andover. Chris commuted to Champlin Park High School to complete his senior year and graduate in 2006.
In April of 2010, Chris began his journey as a father when his oldest son Wesley was born. Over the years Chris would take on jobs in all sorts of establishments; Dairy Queen being a Vyskocil family tradition. Chris wore all kinds of hats in his professional life, but his absolute favorite hat to wear was the “Dad” hat.
In July of 2014, Chris would meet his soon-to-be-wife, Brittany Wells of Becker. They tied the knot in July of 2015, blending their families together to become a family of four. Chris inherited a step-daughter, Cora when he and Brittany married. In June of 2017 Chris and Brittany were blessed with their first son, Landon. Brittany completed nursing school at the same time Chris began his career with Cornerstone Chevrolet of Monticello during the spring of 2018. Initially Chris was hired to work in the Detail Department, but was given the opportunity to work his way up in the company to the position of Service Advisor.
Chris had enormous compassion for people, and had the capacity to connect with and put others at ease with his disarming smile and laid-back personality.
In January of 2023 Chris welcomed to this world his third-born son, Evan. This was a very scary time for Chris and Brittany as Evan came with some health challenges. In spite of the difficulties they encountered, Chris would come to make a decision that would change his life forever - he met and accepted Jesus as his savior.
Chris and Brittany became members of New Life Church in Foley, where Chris excitedly pursued opportunities to volunteer and serve in various ways.
On Saturday July 6, 2024 Chris was involved in a car accident where he would sustain a traumatic brain injury. He was transported via helicopter to North Memorial Hospital where he would undergo surgery to treat incredibly severe injuries. On Monday July 15, Chris went home to be with Jesus. Chris is preceded in death by maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.
