Brett Allyn Sandberg was born May 21, 1964 in Willmar, MN to Darwood & Betty Sandberg. He passed away December 16, 2023 after a long, hard battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held at a later date. He was baptized and confirmed at Calvary Lutheran Church. Brett graduated in 1982 from Willmar Senior High School and attended Willmar Vocational College, graduating with a welding degree. He moved to St. Cloud and received his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from St. Cloud State University. He worked for UPS until his disability in 2014. Brett loved camping, fishing, hunting and his dog “Lady”. He passed away Dec. 16, 2023 at St. Cloud CentraCare Hospital. Brett is survived by his parents, Darwood & Betty Sandberg of Brandon, SD; sister Kelly Sandberg of Brandon, SD, daughter Nichole Bredeson (Tom Schultz), of Atwater, MN; granddaughters Kara and Khloe Bredeson of Atwater, MN and special friend Julie Hovendick of Clearwater, MN.
