Barbara Ann Heinkel age 73, of Becker, passed peacefully on Friday evening, November 24, 2023 with her loving family by her side, at the St Benedicts Care Center in St. Cloud, MN.

She was born October 22, 1950 too Philip and Anna (Kampa) Houde and was raised with her 4 brothers in Roseville, Minnesota. In 1979 Barb and her 3 boys moved to Becker where she worked throughout her years.  Lonny’s Grocery - Becker, FSI - Monticello, Beck’s Pub - Becker and McDonalds - Becker.

In her younger years she was quite the super star when it came to playing softball. She played on a few different teams and in tournaments all over Minnesota and Nationals in Las Vegas. She liked to read, play golf and take care of her flowers.  Most of all she loved fishing and spending time at the cabin, on Clam Lake in Siren, WI with her family and friends.  

Barb is survived by her children Steven (Loree) Heinkel, Philip (Missi) Heinkel, Tom Heinkel, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, Brothers Richard (Mary Lou) Houde, Philip Houde, Ronnie (Jill) Houde, Gary Houde and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents Philip and Anna (Kampa) Houde.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM, Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church in Becker, Minnesota.  Visitation will be held before the Service at 10:00.
