Wild Marsh will also be holding numerous drawings and giveaways including memberships, apparel, cards and awards. The first 20 people each day will receive a free gift and 25th anniversary t-shirts will be available for purchase for just $15 (limited edition).

“This weekend is our way of showing our appreciation for all our supporters,” said Manager Debbie Mortenson.

Wild Marsh was established in May, 1989 in Clear Lake and offers a variety of shooting activities for both the recreational and competitive shooter. There are three walk-through sporting clays courses.

The Blue and Green courses have nine stations, each with 50 targets. The Red course has up to 18 stations with 100 targets. They also have an ideal warm-up station perfect for the brand new shooter or anyone looking to shoot a quick 25 targets.

The Wild Marsh five-stand opened in 2003 and is the compact version of sporting clays with five shooting stations and 25 targets. It uses six automatic traps with the stations positioned under a shooting shelter for all types of weather conditions.

The pistol and rifle ranges also opened in 2003, with Shelter A being a 12 yard range with four partitioned shooting benches. Shelter B is the 25-50 yard pistol/rifle range with 10 partitioned shooting benches. Shelter C is the 100 yard, high powered rifle range with 10 shooting benches.

Whatever ones’ shooting needs are, Wild Marsh has it for both the beginner and the advanced shooter.

Wild Marsh is co-owned by Chris Mortenson and Dennis Steininger.
