Jenna Voigt, a student at St. Cloud State University, has reached new heights in her academic career as the recipient of a distinguished leadership award.
Voigt was one of only 22 national and international students that received the 2022 St. Cloud State University Excellence in Leadership Award. The Excellence in Leadership Award is the University’s highest award for student leadership. The award recognizes students in their time at St. Cloud State University for their achievements in campus and community involvement, volunteer service, excellence in academics, and advancement in progressive leadership roles.
Voigt was also awarded and inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success after completing additional leadership training.
Voigt’s academic career includes being a 2019 graduate of Becker High School, a 2019 graduate of St. Cloud State University receiving an Associate of Arts degree, a 2020 graduate of St. Cloud State University receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice Studies with a concentration in 21st Century Policing and a Minor in Political Science, a 2021 graduate of the SKILLS Law Enforcement Training Program at Alexandria Technical College, and will be a 2022 St. Cloud State University graduate this semester with a Master of Public Administration degree that includes a concentration in City and County Leadership and Management.
Voigt has earned each degree with Summa Cum Laude honors. Additional achievements include being awarded the St. Cloud State University Presidential Scholarship, the Greater St. Cloud Public Safety Foundation Scholarship, a 2020 full-time Internship, a 2021 SCSU Graduate Assistantship, a 2022 SCSU Graduate Assistantship, SCSU Dean’s List, and three-time volunteer award recipient of the 2019 “Bronze,” 2020 “Gold,” and 2021 “Silver” President’ Volunteer Service Award.
Voigt served as a Reserve Officer, Reserve Sergeant, and Reserve Lieutenant for the Becker Police Dept., and currently works as a Police Officer for the BPD while serving as the Assistant Coordinator of the Reserve Officer Program.
