The Sherburne County Area United Way is announcing that they are holding a drive for winter boots, mittens, gloves, hats and scarves for people in need in their communities from April 29 to May 3.
All products will be given away at the Oct. 17, 2019 Community Connect event at the Elk River High School. Sherburne County Area United Way serves Big Lake, Elk River, Otsego, Princeton, Santiago, and Zimmerman is focused on strengthening youth as well as the community.
Large boxes will be at partnering businesses as well as at United Way – the following states where “drive boxes” will be:
Big Lake:
