Two Injured In Hwy 10 Crash In Becker

Two drivers received “non life threatening” injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 10 in Becker Monday evening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) accident report.
 
According to the report, a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Zachary Q. Bond, 22, of Monticello was southbound on Sherburne Avenue at 6:17 p.m. Monday when it broadsided a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Brian P. Stachowski, 50, of St. Cloud, which was westbound on Hwy 10.  The impact left one of the vehicles overturned in the median at the road intersection.
 
An air ambulance was called to the scene, and Stachowski was subsequently transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale for treatment, according to the MSP report.  Alcohol was not a factor in the accident, the report concluded.
