Pine trees grow well in Sherburne County’s sand soil, and the county is home to a number of Christmas Tree farms. The Sherburne History Center is celebrating the season and the county’s history of Christmas tree farming with music, snacks, and Christmas tree themed crafts at their annual Christmas Tree Ornament Festival.
The event is scheduled for Sat., Dec. 1, from 10 a.m. until noon. It is free, and all are welcome to attend. Visitors may even get a glimpse of Santa himself!
