With Christmas just around the corner, and COVID-19 mandates and rules for this year, the start of the Community Toys for Tots campaign is getting underway again for the children of the Big Lake, Becker, Clearwater, Clear Lake and Monticello communities.

Applications to receive toys through the program can be picked up at the city hall or the food shelf serving any of these five towns. This includes Big Lake school district residents with an Elk River address.

Applications will be accepted through Dec. 7, 2020. This year’s distribution date will be Sat., Dec. 19, 2020 and even a few other days. Due to COVID-19, TFT organizers are trying to keep everyone, including their volunteers safe.

For those that are seeking an opportunity to help others in their community over the holiday season, Community Toys for Tots has opportunities for you.
