Back for a third year, the Clearwater Library is once again inviting the public to a Tiny Art Show throughout the month of April featuring miniature works of art created by area library patrons.
Each participant was given a small square of canvas and an easel and asked to create a work of art for the library. The subject and medium used were completely up to the artists, who came back with an incredible array of creative paintings, from landscapes and abstract to animals and flowers.
A humorous piece of art titled ‘How Much?’ features shocked looking cartoon chicken heads next to a ‘Fresh Eggs’ sign with the price crossed out and replaced with dollar signs.
This year’s Tiny Art Show features a record breaking 48 artists ranging from preschool to adult, who used a variety of medias to create their work, including traditional paint, colored pencils, 3D mixed media, and fabric.
