A tentative agreement on two-year contracts for the 2013-15 and 2015-17 school years has been reached by negotiators for the Becker School District and the Becker Education Association, reports Sup. Dr. Stephen Malone.
Both sides have agreed not to disclose the details of the agreements until the teacher’s union holds a vote on the proposals, which is scheduled for Wed., Aug. 27, Malone said.
If the agreements are approved by the union membership, the Becker Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the BHS media center to ratify the contracts.
