BECKER HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS finish off a big number during rehearsals for their fall musical, Fiddler on the Roof, a story centering around a Jewish family in 1905 Russia attempting to maintain their religious and cultural traditions.

Students To Wow Crowds With ‘Fiddler’

 
Directed by Joseph Rand, this year’s Becker High School musical, Fiddler on the Roof, looks to be another outstanding performance; students have been practicing four days a week since the third week of September. The piece includes 54 cast members, six orchestra students and 20 students crew members, along with adult volunteers and directors.
 
Heidi Schneider from the Jewish Community Relations Council will be holding a panel discussion on Judaism, anti-Semitism and how they relate to Fiddler on the Roof between shows on Dec. 1 at 5 p.m. 
 
Show times are 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2. Tickets, which are available at the door or on the Becker Schools’ website, are $12 for adults, $10 for students, seniors and military.
